Obtained degree in Dutch civil at the Rotterdam Erasmus University and specialised in corporate law. Specialised in Dutch tax law at the Leiden University. Fellow Member of the Dutch Organisation of Tax Lawyers (NOB).

Work Experenience
Tax commissioner with the Dutch tax authorities (private individual income tax law and corporate income tax law). Tax partner with Buruma Maris and De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek (Linklaters & Alliance), respectively. Part-time lecturer with Federatie van belastingconsulenten (federation of tax consultants), seminar experience.

At present tax partner with Otterspeer, Haasnoot & Partners, a Rotterdam based niche firm of specialised tax lawyers on European and international tax law. Specialisation regards i.a. mergers and acquisitions, (re)structuring of (international) groups of companies and of real estate investments, Dutch tax ruling practice and Anglo-American trusts.
